Welcome to Robin’s Creative Expressions, a ministry God has put on my heart. God has called me to share His written word and testimonies of what He has done in my life with others through this writing ministry.

Over the past 30+ years of my life I have ministered God’s word to individuals and small groups in northern Idaho. Any Christian who shares God’s word with others is said to be a “sower” or someone who  “scatters” the seeds of God’s word. You can read about Jesus sharing a parable about a sower and seed with a group He is teaching in Matthew 13:1-22.

God uses His people as instruments to help reach others with His message of reconciliation. The Holy Bible is God’s message to people everywhere.  When Jesus did His ministry as a man on this earth, He trained twelve ordinary men to take His message from Jerusalem, to Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. They turned their world upside down and God used them to build the early church.

Like these disciples, God gave me a mission field which began in my home town of Sandpoint, Idaho, and slowly spread throughout this region in north Idaho.

In the early 2000s God called me to write for His glory. He gave me the message and a vision for the books I wrote and self-published with the help of http://westbowpress.com He also gave me the ability to teach myself how to create websites with wordpress.com  As I learned and built these websites, God expanded my mission field across the globe via the internet. My websites and blogs carry the message of the Gospel to the places I cannot otherwise go.

My main goal is to sow the seeds from God’s word into the hearts of people who recognize they have a need for God, and want to receive Him into their hearts and lives. Therefore, I am happy to pray for others, answer questions about the Bible, and help counsel and encourage others from the Bible. I am not a licensed, professional counselor. For prayer and information, please email me at getrobinu@gmail.com

In addition to God’s calling on my life, God has done many healings and miraculous works in my life. I discovered how awesome God is when He miraculously stopped me from purposely taking my own life. I attempted this because I thought my life was hopeless and worthless. God saved me from a life of depression and sin and gave me a new life–in Jesus Christ–that is filled with forgiveness, hope, joy, love and peace. God also gave me many blessings and promises for the future, and I know He can do the same for others too.

God is the only One who can take broken people, heal them, and give them a brand-new life. I know He can do this because He has done it for me. The pages in my books, and on my websites, are flooded with stories of God’s work in my life. I hope you enjoy reading them and seeing how God can truly transform someone’s broken heart and life.

I am alive today to testify that God has done this in my life! He has healed me from many wounds. Now God uses me to share His word and the testimonies of what He has done in my life with others. God uses me as His instrument to take the “Good News” of His forgiveness, grace and love to others. Only God can take a life of hurt and misery and bring something good out of it. He is indeed an awesome God.

As scripture says, “I waited patiently for the LORD, and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth–praise to our God: many shall see it, and fear, and will trust in the LORD. (Psalm 40:1-3 NKJV*)

The Bible tells us about our choice regarding the two pathways we can walk on as we journey through life, saying, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14 KJV) God has given us the power to choose which path we journey on through this life. I pray that you will choose the narrow path to life.

The Christian writing I do, whatever form it takes, is my way of saying, “Thank You, awesome God, for saving me, transforming my heart and life, and giving me hope for the future.” To God be the glory for all He is and does!

COMING AROUND THE CORNER:

I’m presently working on a Bible study on the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. The book begins with the prophet Jeremiah the Prophet speaking to God’s people, warning them to repent and come back to God. For over 20 years the prophet warned God’s people to turn back to God or they would face correction. The people did not listen and kept on sinning until God had to do something. Therefore, God sent Nebuchadnezzar to conquer the people. The Israelites were held in bondage in Babylon for 70 years. But they were still loved by God and not forgotten.

Through the prophet, Isaiah, God sent a message telling His people that a man named Cyrus would come and eventually allow them to return home to rebuild Jerusalem and it’s great wall of protection.

As God’s people worked to rebuild their city and wall, the opposition to their work became great and they faced terrific challenges. Opposition was so strong that the people stopped working on the temple for many years. Finally, the prophets Haggai and Zechariah spoke God’s word, directing them to continue the work. Finally the temple was finished. Yet the wall of Jerusalem lay in waste with its gates burned with fire and the great stones broken into rubble.

God sent some messengers to Nehemiah, cupbearer of the Persian King who told Nehemiah about the desperate situation in Jerusalem. Since Nehemiah’s forefathers were buried in tombs in Judea, the cupbearer was saddened by the news. He prayed and asked God to give him favor in the eyes of the Persian king. God answered Nehemiah’s prayer and the king let Nehemiah go to Jerusalem to help rebuild the wall. The king also sent letters to governors for Nehemiah’s safe passage and to the Keeper of the King’s forest for timber for beams. The king also sent captains of the army and horsemen with Nehemiah.

Nehemiah: A Man with Enduring Faith, the bible study I’m presently working on shows how Nehemiah led God’s people and kept them focused on rebuilding the wall when the opposition threatened their lives. Opposition came from countries that surrounded Judea, from people who were not Israelites that lived in the area, and even from the Jewish brethren who should have been helping support the workers. Even though opposition surrounded the workers on every side, Nehemiah prayed and God used him to keep the workers going and to encourage them to focus and finish the task.

Nehemiah’s story contains a wealth of information and encouragement for Christians and others who struggle with overwhelming challenges in their daily lives and Christian walks. As multitudes struggle with Covid-19, economic hardship, health challenges and a variety of other issues, God tugs at my heart to write this story of Nehemiah: A Man With Enduring Faith. It’s my prayer that God will use it to encourage and help His people through these trying times.

If you have any questions or comments about my writing, you can email me at getrobinu@gmail.com I look forward to hearing from you.
